The four newly appointed Cabinet Ministers were sworn in by the Acting Chief Justice, Justice Teboho Moiloa at the Royal Palace in Maseru on Thursday.

They are Mr. Serialong Qoo who is now the Minister of Communications, Science and Technology and Deputy Ministers for the Ministries of Agriculture and Food Security, Mr. Tumahole Lerafa, of Home Affairs, Mr. Lethusang Kompi and Mrs. Manthabiseng Phohleli of Public Works and Transport.

This follows the announcement made by the Office of the Government Secretary regarding changes in Cabinet where other cabinet Ministers have been released from their duties while others have been reshuffled.

Mr. Phallang Monare, former Deputy Minister of Home Affairs took oath of office as Minister of Police, and Minister Mokhele Moletsane took same oath as Minister of Law, Human Rights and Constitutional Affairs.

The released include Mr. Kabelo Mafura who was Minister of Forestry and Land Reclamation, former Minister of Education and Training, Dr Mahali Phamotse, Mr. Thabiso Lits'iba who was Minister of Small Business Development, Cooperatives and Marketing as well as Dr. 'Mamosa Molapo, former Deputy Minister of Agriculture and Food Security.

Meanwhile, the Minister in the Prime Minister's Office Mr. Kimetso Mathaba has moved to the Ministry of Water Affairs and has been replaced by Mr. Monyane Moleleki who was in charge of the Police Ministry.

Mr. Tlohang Sekhamane who was the Minister of Foreign Affairs and International Relations has been appointed to run the Ministry of Finance, replacing Dr 'Mamphono Khaketla who is now Minister of Foreign Affairs and International Relations.

The Minister of Law, Constitutional Affairs and Human Rights, Mr. Motlalentoa Letsosa is now the Minister of Education and Training. Mr. Selibe Mochoboroane who was the Minister of Energy and Meteorology is now Minister of Small Businesses, Development, Cooperatives and Marketing and is replaced by former Minister of Communications, Science and Technology, Mr. Khotso Letsatsi.

Mr. Ralechate 'Mokose who was Minister of Water Affairs is now Minister of Forestry and Land Reclamation.
