The Honourable Minister of Mining
Honourable Keketso Sello
Honourable Keketso Utloang Sello is the Minister of Mining. He is also a Member of Parliament for Hlootse Constituency No. 13, representing the All Basotho Convention (ABC) political party.
Honourable Sello attended the Iqhayiya Technical College in Port Elizabeth, South Africa. He was educated at Christ the King High and Maseru Day High schools after completing his primary education at Iketsetseng Private School in Maseru.
Since leaving school, he has served in the position of a Director at Lesotho Funeral Services from 1986 to date. While at the Lesotho Funeral services, some of the main duties and responsibilities included; maintaining financial records, order merchandise and prepare accounts, manage funeral home operations, offer counsel and comfort to bereaved families and friends as well as to direct preparations and shipment of bodies for out-of-state burial.
Honourable Sello has also been the director of Humanities Building Construction and Transport and Logistics overseeing daily operations of the construction company. Again he worked as Director of Humanities, Farm and Poultry collaborating with the farmers about all farming activities, monitoring and supplying piggery across the country, monitoring merino wool production, farm progress and production and supply of maize and beans across the country. Beside the local positions, he has also served as the Director of National Funeral Directors Association of South Africa (NFDA).
He is married and blessed with three daughters, two sons and a grandchild. He likes soccer and volleyball.
