MISSION:    

We are committed to improving lives and livelihoods of the Basotho, promoting partnerships and monitoring public service performance through coordination and overseeing implementation of Government policies and programs for efficient and effective service in all line Ministries.

VISION:

By 2020, the Prime Minister's Office will excel in leading the public sector towards achieving client-focused service delivery.

GOALS:

•  To increase the level of implementation of Cabinet decisions.
• To coordinate the public and private sector participation in policy formulation,   development and implementation.
• To coordinate the disaster risk management activities to build capacity and resilience of Basotho to disasters.
• To coordinate the nutrition programs to improve the nutritional status of Basotho.
• To enhance collaboration with partners for improved logistical management of Food and non-food commodities.
• To coordinate the policy formulation and implementation of impact mitigation on orphans and vulnerable children(OVCs) and decrease vulnerability.
• To capacitate the communities and agencies to decrease the unemployment rate.
• To coordinate and manage the response to the HIV and AIDS pandemic in Lesotho.
• To coordinate the public service reforms to improve service delivery.
