The Minister of Finance, Thabo Sophonea will present the 2021/2022 Budget speech to Parliament on Wednesday of 17^th February 2021.
This is according to the Principal Secretary in the Ministry of Finance, Ms. Nthoateng Lebona.
Ms, Lebona disclosed that this event will be a live broadcast on both television (Lesotho Television) and radio nationwide.
She further noted that the event will be a joint sitting for the two houses thus the Senate and National Assembly in line with the COVID-19 protocols.
This will be the first budget speech presented for Parliament by the current Coalition government led by Prime Minister, Dr Moeketsi Majoro.
