HIS MAJESTY COMMISSIONS LESOTHO AMBASSADORS

His Majesty King Letsie III on Wednesday commissioned three newly appointed Lesotho envoys at the event held at the Royal Palace in Maseru.
The envoys have been appointed as Ambassadors-Designate to Lesotho Diplomatic Missions in the Kingdom of Belgium, the Federal Republic of Germany, and the Swiss Confederation and Permanent Representative to the United Nations Office in Geneva respectively. 
Dr Pontšo Susan ‘Matumelo Sekatle has been appointed Ambassador of the Kingdom of Lesotho to the Kingdom of Belgium, as well as Head of Mission of the Kingdom of Lesotho to the European Union. Dr Sekatle is currently a member of Parliament representing Qacha’s Nek constituency.
Ms. Senate David Khabasheane Masupha has also been appointed Ambassador of the Kingdom of Lesotho to the Federal Republic of Germany. She has previously served the Kingdom of Lesotho as Counsellor in Lesotho’s Embassy in Rome, Italy. She has a career as a researcher and consultant.
Mr. Thabang Matjama has been appointed Ambassador of the Kingdom of Lesotho to the Swiss Confederation and Permanent Representative to the United Nations Office in Geneva. He is currently a Public Relations Officer for the Lesotho Highlands Development Authority. He has served as a media practitioner in Lesotho and South Africa.
Present to grace the ceremony were the acting Minister of Foreign Affairs and International Relations, Mr. Semano Sekatle and the Principal Secretary, Mr. Tanki Mothae, as well as family members of the envoys.
