LNDC APPOINTS NEW BOSS

Advocate Molise Ramaili has been appointed as the Lesotho National Development Corporation (LNDC) Interim Chief Executive Officer effective from May 24.
This is according to LNDC Public Relations Manager, Ms. Tiisetso Moremoholo who disclosed that in his remarks, the new CEO has pledged to hit the ground running as he has a clear vision to ensure diversification of Industry in Lesotho and will familiarise himself with LNDC’s strategy, processes, governance structures and staff in process as well as to explore out of the box approaches.
She said in his remarks , Mr.Ramaili said LNDC has a big role to play in empowering Basotho to convert good ideas into bankable projects, adding that he believes the experience he brings from the banking sector will enhance LNDC’s development finance role of offering financing solutions to support private sector led industrial development and economics diversification.
Ms. Moremoholo cited Adv. Ramaili as saying “Teamwork makes the dream work” noting that he seeks to inspire a winning team at LNDC and that this requires participation of all staff members.

According to Ms. Moremoholo,  the new CEO brings a wealth of corporate experience from diverse sectors including financial sector.
Adv. Ramaili has served as Chief Operating Officer at Lesotho Post Bank and Letshego Financial Services, Head of Legal Compliance and Company Secretary at First National Bank after serving as Legal and Compliance Manager.
The above mentioned positions are preceded by his role at Vodacom Lesotho as the Senior Specialist, Legal Contracts and his first job as Legal Officer at the Water and Sewage Company.
Mr. Ramali is an LLB graduate of the National University of Lesotho and completed high school at Machabeng College.
He succeeds Mr. Mohato Seleke who joined the Lesotho Electricity Company in January this year as the new Managing Director.
