MR. NTŠABA SERVED THE GOVERNMENT WITH INTEGRITY-PM

The Prime Minister, Dr Moeketsi Majoro says the late Mr. Moneri Ntšaba is reported to have served the government with integrity and has touched the lives of many people by the way he dressed up during his time.
Dr Majoro said this when passing condolences to the bereaved family at the official burial of Mr. Ntšaba held at his home village, Molumong in the Mokhotlong district on Friday.
He said Mr. Ntšaba was described as one of the rare people who was always neat and presentable at all times by those who worked with him.
He said the deceased family is lucky to have been blessed by someone of Mr. Ntšaba’s calibre.
Also passing condolences as one of the people who worked with the deceased was former Lesotho Prime Minister, Dr Pakalitha Mosisili who said the late Mr. Ntšaba was always smart and challenged the current Prime Minister with the entire cabinet to be smart whenever they dress up.
“Ntate Nts’aba was always tidy and some of us learnt how to dress up and become presentable from him,” he said.
Dr Mosisili also requested the Lesotho Evangelical Church of Southern Africa to reopen the Morija Training College to offer teachers training and how to conduct themselves in various ways including how to dress up.
He said Mr. Ntšaba was a product of the College hence the way he presented himself to the public.
Dr Mosisili added that those who worked with the deceased were lucky as they learnt a lot from him as a teacher and as an Assistant Minister between 1993 and 1998.
Moreover the Speaker of the National Assembly, Mr. Sephiri Motanyane consoled the family and friends for the loss and appealed to children to respect their parents so that their days could be prolonged on earth as it is one of the 10 Commandments of God.
The Acting Principal Chief of Mokhotlong Chief Lerotholi Mathealira Seeiso requested the family to accept God’s Will about the passing of their father and said, “There is time for everything.”
At the funeral, those who attended the Morija Training College with Mr. Ntšaba were given the opportunity to pay their last respect to him by singing a song about Morija.
They were all senior citizens, some walked with the assistance of walking sticks in their hands but they still made a point that they put on their suits which made them look neat and presentable.
Present at the funeral service were some members of the cabinet who worked with Mr. Nts’aba and they included former Deputy Prime Ministers, Messrs Lesao Lehohla, Monyane Moleleki and former cabinet Minister, Mr. Mohlabi Tsekoa.
The Principal Chiefs and some members of the current cabinet also attended the burial ceremony.
Mr. Moneri Nts’aba succumbed to death due to ill health and old age at 94 years old. He died early this month and was honoured with an official burial because he served the government as Assistant Minister of Interior and Chieftainship Affairs between 1993 and 1998.
