PM VISITS KENYA

The Prime Minister, Dr Motsoahae Thomas Thabane and his delegation left the country on Saturday afternoon for an official visit to Kenya.
Speaking in an interview, the Press Secretary in the Prime Minister’s Office, Mr. Thabo Thakalekoala said the President of Kenya, Mr. Uhuru Kenyatta, has invited Dr Thabane, saying the purpose of the visit is to strengthen the cordial relations that already exist between the two countries.
Mr. Thakalekoala said both the Kenyan President and Lesotho’ Prime Minister will also forge ways in which the relations could further be strengthened for mutual benefit.
He added that Kenya and Lesotho are members of regional and international organisations that include the African Union, United Nations and Commonwealth to mention a few.
He said both countries share common views and values on various issues at regional and international forums.
The Prime Minister and his delegation will return home on Thursday (November 14).
