Road Fund has appointed Mrs ‘Mats’epang Sekhokoane as the new Chief Executive Officer on a five-year contractual basis.
She comes in as the fourth and first female CEO of Road Fund.
One of the members of the board of directors for Road Fund Mr Mocheta Makara outlined that the CEO is entrusted with the responsibility of maximizing revenue collection in order to have sufficient funds to finance road infrastructure.
On the same token, Mr ‘Mats’epang Sekhokoane said that working together with the employees of the Fund, her aim is to ensure that the organization effectively and efficiently collects enough revenue towards assisting in road maintenance.
She added that with teamwork she is also aiming for improved and better service delivery for the nation by the Road Fund.
Mrs Sekhokoane has worked in a number of organizations such as the World Bank, the then Lesotho Revenue Authority, Lesotho Highlands Development Authority and has been on Embassy appointments in Beijing, China.
