LESOTHO PARTICIPATES IN LANDLOCKED COUNTRIES CONFERENCE

The Honourable Lejone Mpotjoana, Minister of Foreign Affairs and International Relations, has arrived in Awaza, Turkmenistan to lead the Kingdom of Lesotho’s delegation at the 3rd United Nations Conference on Landlocked Developing Countries (LLDC3).

This high-level global conference brings together leaders and experts to tackle the unique development challenges faced by landlocked developing nations.

Hon. Mpotjoana is scheduled to deliver Lesotho’s National Statement, highlighting the country’s progress, development priorities, and the need for strengthened global cooperation to support landlocked states.

In addition to delivering the statement, the Honourable Minister will participate as a panelist in thematic sessions focusing on:

Trade facilitation

Transit infrastructure

Economic diversification

Climate change
