The Government of the Kingdom of Lesotho held a successful animal dip tank handover event at Letšeng-la-Letsie, Likhaebaneng/Ha Peete in Quthing District. The programme brought together national leaders, local authorities, and livestock farmers, highlighting the importance of improving animal health services and supporting the wool and mohair industry.
The event featured remarks from various stakeholders and a keynote address by the Right Honourable the Prime Minister, marking a key milestone in strengthening rural livelihoods.
Dip tanks are communal assets that can be managed by Farmers Associations, Chiefs and Local councils to ensure that all livestock is dipped regularly, kept alive, productive and disease-free.
