The Minister of Foreign Affairs and International Relations, Honourable Lejone Mpotjoane received the credence Letters of Her Excellency Taija Mari Johanna Kontinen-Sharp as the United Nations Resident Coordinator to the Kingdom of Lesotho.
Her presentation formally marked the commencement of her mandate following her appointment by the Secretary-General of the United Nations.
Lesotho values its longstanding partnership with the United Nations anchored in multilateralism and aligned with our national development priorities and looking forward to continued collaboration to advance inclusive governance, sustainable development and opportunities for entire Basotho.
