H.E. Ambassador Nts’iuoa Sekete presented copies of her Letters of Credence to Dr. Vincent Biruta, Minister of Interior of the Republic of Rwanda, marking an important step in her accreditation as Non-Resident High Commissioner of the Kingdom of Lesotho to Rwanda.
During the meeting, Ambassador Sekete conveyed warm greetings and best wishes from His Majesty King Letsie III, Head of State of the Kingdom of Lesotho, as well as from the Government of Lesotho led by The Right Honourable Prime Minister Sam Matekane, Head of Government.
The presentation of copies of Letters of Credence signaled strengthening of diplomatic engagement between the Kingdom of Lesotho and the Republic of Rwanda.
Ambassador Sekete reaffirmed Lesotho’s commitment to deepening bilateral cooperation and advancing shared continental priorities, including collaboration within the African Union and the United Nations Economic Commission for Africa.
Ambassador Sekete expressed her appreciation for the warm welcome accorded to her and underscored her commitment to working closely with the Government of Rwanda to further enhance the longstanding friendship and cooperation between the two countries.
The Ambassador is scheduled to present her Letters of Credence to H.E. Paul Kagame, President of the Republic of Rwanda, in due course.
