Princess Senate Mohato Seeiso engaged with learners at Patlong High School in Qacha’s Nek during her district tour focused on promoting Basotho cultural heritage. The visit highlighted the importance of preserving cultural values, traditions and identity among young people.
Youth who know their history, language, games and traditions turn to be strong in sense of who they are, they grow up to be a strong Nation that can preserve and protect their own country.
Learning about their culture, Youth also understand why certain practices exist and keep growing from generation to generation, therefore they become custodians and preserve what really matters for their own advantage.
