The Kingdom of Lesotho and the Republic of Botswana are set to establish relations which are amongst others expected to yield results as Bi-national commission agreement.
This was revealed during the welcoming of the President of the Republic of Botswana Advocate Duma Boko who arrived in Maseru through the Moshoeshoe I International Airport on Tuesday.
Speaking in an interview with the Agency on Tuesday, the Minister of Foreign Affairs and International Relations Mr. Lejone Mpotjoane said this visit is aimed at establishing long term relations that will see collaborations in agriculture, education and water.
He indicated that on other deliberations, Lesotho has a proposed dam which will be used to supply water to Botswana through South Africa which he mentioned that deliberations are on table on how the matter will be handled.
He also mentioned that as part of his visit, President Boko will also visit the proposed dam site, the Katse dam as well as the Tikoe industrial area.
