The Principal Secretary of the Ministry of Public Works and Transport, Ms Tšepang Koele, officially welcomed a delegation from the Kingdom of Eswatini during their study tour visit to the Road Directorate in Maseru.
Ms Koele noted that the study tour began the previous day, and its main objective is to observe how Lesotho’s Ministry of Public Works and Transport operates. She explained that the visit focuses on benchmarking in two key sectors: roads and transport.
In his remarks, the Chairman of the Civil Service Commission in the Kingdom of Eswatini, Mr Simanga Mamba, commended Lesotho’s Minister of Public Works and Transport as a key driver of service delivery. He stressed that citizens expect real outcomes and improved quality of life. “This benchmarking visit is intended to promote mutual learning and cooperation to improve service delivery for the benefit of our people,” he said.
Mr Mamba’s delegation included Commissioners Mfánawemakhosi Dlamini and Nhlanhla Hlatjwako, as well as Principal Secretary Richard Phungwayo
