Timeline
• Case should be lodged within 3 months after expulsion
• Complainant should know very well the names of the employer and if it’s a company or an individual;
• If it’s a company correct names should be well known;
• Employee should know place of business as well as postal address of such a place;
• Proof of when starting to engage each other;
• Proof of salary amount of an Employee;
• All necessary evidence that can assist leading to what is being complained about;
All DDPR services are free of charge
Results could be:
• Settlement/ agreement between two parties, after discussions under the guidance of DDPR or
• Ombudsman verdict if the case eneded up being resolved in courts with provision of evidences by the two parties, within 30 days after completion of the
case. The period could be extended by the Ombudsman based on bulkiness of
evidence provided; or
• The case can be taken to the Labour Court if so required or if no resolution reached by DDPR
