The Prime Minister, Mr Ntsokoane Matekane says as a way of reviving the spirit of unity and peace in the country, there will be a prayer session at Leshoboro Stadium in Mafeteng on Friday.
Speaking on the national television on Tuesday evening, he highlighted that the prayer meeting is also an initiative aimed at celebrating the 200 years of Lesotho’s existence.
“Basotho from different parts of the country are expected to join this event and use it as a way of revival and reflecting back to the good ways that the Basotho nation is known for”, he added.
He said this prayer is also going to be used as a way of praying for peace and hope for a safer nation for all.
The Principal Chiefs are expected to lead this prayer session. The traditional leaders and senior citizens are also expected to grace this event with their presence.
