His Majesty King Letsie III today led the Kingdom of Lesotho in commemorating the anniversary of Armistice Day, honoring Basotho who served in the First and Second World Wars. The ceremony paid tribute to the countless men who left their homes to support global peace efforts, many of whom never returned.
His Majesty laid a wreath on behalf of the nation, followed by The Right Honourable Prime Minister Ntsokoane Matekane, their Excellencies Ambassadors accredited to the Kingdom of Lesotho who also honoured the fallen through symbolic wreath-laying.
The Christian Council of Lesotho and the Lesotho Defense Force Chaplaincy led the gathering with prayer, guiding the nation into a moment of reflection, gratitude, and quiet resolve.
