The Ministry of Health commemorates World Cancer Day at Sankatana Hospital in Maseru. All stakeholders have convened together to raise awareness about the existence of different cancer types that kill people in multitudes, it is essential that people are educated, encouraged, cautioned, counselled and be given different prevention measures and lastly those affected be offered emotional support.
Cancer affects individuals regardless of age, families and communities, so it’s critical that everybody join this battle fought against cancer by engaging in healthy lifestyle which includes eating healthy food avoiding processed foods, exercising and frequent tests to enable early detection.
Standing together against cancer! Health partners unite on World Cancer Day under the theme ‘United by Unique’ sharing stories, strengthening support, and fighting together.
