The Government of the Kingdom of Lesotho wishes to inform the nation of recent changes within the Cabinet, following the acceptance by His Majesty King Letsie III of the Prime Ministerโs advice, effective 18 May 2026.
1. ๐๐จ๐ง๐จ๐ฎ๐ซ๐๐๐ฅ๐ ๐๐๐๐จ๐ง๐ ๐๐๐ฉ๐ก๐๐ฆ๐ has been released from the Cabinet.
2. ๐๐จ๐ง๐จ๐ฎ๐ซ๐๐๐ฅ๐ ๐๐จ๐ญ๐ฅ๐๐ญ๐ฌ๐ข ๐๐๐ช๐๐ฅ๐๐ฉ๐จ has been reassigned from the Ministry of Tourism, Sports, Arts and Culture to the Ministry of Trade, Industry and Business Development.
3. ๐๐จ๐ง๐จ๐ฎ๐ซ๐๐๐ฅ๐ ๐๐ฉ๐ฎ๐ญ๐ข ๐๐ฉ๐ฎ๐ญ๐ข has been reassigned from the Ministry of the Public Service to the Ministry of Tourism, Sports, Arts and Culture.
4. ๐๐จ๐ง๐จ๐ฎ๐ซ๐๐๐ฅ๐ ๐๐จ๐๐ค๐๐ญ๐ฌ๐ข ๐๐จ๐ญลก๐จ๐๐ง๐ has been appointed as Minister in the Ministry of the Public Service.
A swearing-in ceremony for the newly appointed Minister will take place on Tuesday, 19 May 2026, at the Royal Palace.
