Day Two of the Lesotho–Botswana Bi-National Commission (BNC) Senior Officials Meeting focused on intensive deliberations by sectoral breakaway groups, which reviewed areas of cooperation and developed agreements aimed at strengthening bilateral relations between the two countries.
The various committees consolidated their discussions and submitted reports for consideration by the plenary session, where senior officials from both countries reviewed and adopted draft agreed minutes and a joint communiqué.
The outcomes of these engagements are expected to further enhance cooperation in a number of sectors and contribute to the implementation of programmes that benefit the people of Lesotho and Botswana.
