Working together for a bright future
My dear fellow citizens,
It is an honor to address you at this YOUTH JOBS SUMMIT organized by the Ministry of Gender, Youth, Sports, and Recreation in collaboration with the Prime Minister’s Delivery Unit. I am not addressing you as the “youth” or “the future generation” but as citizens
of our country and the world. I intentionally make that distinction because it speaks to the urgency of the monumental problems we face as a country. Calling you the “youth” or the “future generation” gives an impression of a people whose time is yet to come. As a leader and father, I am aware that you are the leaders of today and tomorrow. Your challenges have to be met now and not tomorrow. You represent the present.
