FORMER ASSISTANT MINISTER REMEMBERED BY FRIENDS, STUDENTS

The Ntšaba family should be thankful to God for blessing them with a loving and respectful person to everyone of the calibre of the late Mr. Moneri Ntšaba.

šaba is reported to have passed on May 03 at his home in Molumong in the Mokhotlong district due to ill health and old age.
He was former Assistant Minister of Interior and Chieftainship Affairs between 1993 and 1998.
Several speakers who passed condolences at the ceremony that was meant to celebrate his life said the deceased would be remembered for the passion he had to help needy people especially students of his time.
They reflected on years back when he was a teacher at numerous primary schools that included Motsitseng, Khatleli and Molumong.
One of his former students, Mr. Thabo Khetheng said Mr. Nt
šaba had the vision to identify needy students and would make sure that they are assisted accordingly.
One of his colleagues, Mr. Raliotlo Phakisi said he knew the late Mr. Nt
šaba when they joined politics together and he will remember him for his love for singing and his extraordinary service when he was a teacher and in a government office.
Furthermore, another colleague in politics Mr. Khotsang Moshoeshoe said the late Mr. Nt
šaba was a true veteran in the Congress movement as he was first a member of the Basotholand Congress Party and passed on as a member of the Democratic Congress (DC) Political Party.
Besides being a teacher, singer and a politician, he was also said to be both a crop and livestock farmer.

šaba died at the age of 94 and will be honoured with an official funeral by the Lesotho government and his burial will be held at Molumong in the district on Friday.
