SPEAKER COMMENDS MEMBERS FOR JOB WELL DONE

The Speaker of the National Assembly, Mr. Tlohang Sekhamane has commended the Members of the National Assembly for the job well done after working hard to adopt the Compact Bills this week.

He expressed his vote of thanks to the Members saying they need a pad on their shoulders.

Mr. Sekhamane said the Members showed maturity and teamwork throughout the consideration of the Compact Bills.

The Speaker urged the Members to maintain that maturity on issues of national interests.

However, he reminded them that the same spirit should be shown during the deliberations on the Financial Estimates for 2024/25 in the next few days.

The Compact Bills included the Administration of Estates and Inheritance Bill which is expected to attract billions of Maloti for the Millennium Development Account II, which will bring along many developmental projects in the country.
