Honourable Thabo Mofosi is the Minister of Agriculture, Food Security and Nutrition. He was appointed to this position in November 04. He is a Member of Parliament representing the Revolution for Prosperity (RFP) after he was elected during the 2022 National Assembly elections for Moyeni Constituency.

He is a Mosotho man born in the district of Quthing. He started working in South African Mines from early 1990-1996. As he After living in the mines, he served in the public transport industry as an employee and later as a taxi and bus owner. In the same industry, he held different leadership positions in the public transport industry and subsequently ventured into the hospitality industry.

Honourable Mofosi also engaged in Commercial farming (livestock and Crops production), in the Agriculture sector where he became an associate and member of different associations at local, district, national and regional. He held different leadership positions in middle and senior management. In all these sectors, he has been working towards the empowerment of communities, promoting and supporting community initiatives inclusive of sports in his district and nationally.
